New Appointments
Rev. Fr. Gilbert Mascarenhas, Director announced the appointments of Fr. Jerry De Costa as the Assistant Director of St. Vincent Pallotti PU & Degree College and Mrs. Padmavathy K V as the Vice – Principal of St. Vincent Pallotti PU College. The Management congratulated Fr. Jerry De Costa and Mrs. Padmavathy K V on their new appointment and felicitated them with bouquet of flowers wishing them the best for their new tasks.
Inaugural Ceremony of the College Cafeteria
Today 19th May 2022, marks another milestone in the life of St.Vincent Pallotti PU & Degree College Campus with the inaugural ceremony of the college cafeteria. Inauguration was done by Rev. Fr. Gilbert Mascarenhas SAC, Director of St.Vincent Pallotti College in the presence of Mr. Shekar Rajan, Founder-Director of Kickstart Football Club & Mr. Laxman Bhattarai, Co – Founder, Kickstart Football Club, Mr. Murali, Facility Manager, Kickstart Football Club , Dr. E Jerome Xavier, Principal of SVPC, Rev. Fr. Alex Crasta SAC – Rector of Assumption House & other Pallottine Fathers from the SVPC campus.
In his inaugural address, the Director of SVPC thanked the Kickstart Football Club for their hard work & execution of the facility. He appealed to the staff & student community to enjoy the facility & sensitized the need to maintain the decorum of the cafeteria. Mr. Shekar Rajan, expressed his gratitude to the Management of SVPC for the opportunity to establish this facility. Dr. E Jerome Xavier briefed on the norms & guidelines to be followed at the cafeteria. The staff & students witnessed the unveiling of the vibrant cafeteria amidst serene greenery, open seating with warm hospitality from the cafeteria staff. Mouthwatering snacks were relished by the attendees.

Fresher’s Day -2022
Every student eagerly awaits right from their time of admission for their most remarkable event of the college “FRESHER’S PARTY”. The 7th July 2022 was as a memorable day in the life of every fresher of academic year 2022-2023 batch at St, Vincent Pallotti PU College, Bangalore campus. The fresher’s day was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness.
It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. Students were welcomed with the so much of enthusiasm which was organized by ‘The Cultural Committee”. The assistant director Rev. Fr. Jerry D’costa, The Principal Rev. Fr. Andrew Roshan Alva SAC, and The Vice- Principal Mrs. Padmavathy graced the occasion. Principal motivated the students to be more enthusiastic and grab every opportunity that come on their journey as they move forward in their life. A warm welcome was given to the new comers by the II PU Students by their presence and conduct of various activities, games and cultural programmes.
Inter-Class Football Tournament
Department of Physical Education of St Vincent Pallotti PU College hosted the Inter-Class Football Tournament on 15th, and 16th July 2022 in a grand manner to develop Harmony and Healthy sporting environment among the seniors and juniors. The occasion was graced by the college Principals and Vice Principal. After the Introduction of the Teams, the Referees addressed the players and inspired them to show their talent in the true spirit of sportsmanship. He also inspired them to look at sports as a field of career. The event started at 11am with a total of 5 teams ( Girls) and 13 teams( Boys) contestants taking part in the competition. The first Match was played between the 2nd year (A Section) and 2nd Science, where 2nd Science Team won the Match by 1 goals to 0. In the girls section the first match was between I science and 2nd science scored for the winners. The next semi-final was played between 2nd year B section and 1 year B Section, The Final Match was held between 2nd Year B section and 2nd Year D Section, where the second year D Section secured the first please and second year B section second place.The second day the Final Match (boys) was held between 2nd Year D Section and 1 year B section, where the 2nd Year’s won the match. The Football Teams participated with great Enthusiasm.The Football Teams participated with great Enthusiasm. The winner team was awarded by the Rolling Trophy and medals. The Runners up team also received a Trophy and medals. The day was a great experience in the life of Students.
NSS Inaugural Ceremony 2022
Inauguration of NSS activities for the academic year 2022-23 was held at St.
Vincent Pallotti PU College on 20.07.2022. Principal, Fr. Andrew Roshan Alva
SAC, Vice Principal, Ms. Padmavathy, Cordinator Ms. Moksha, Faculties and all
the NSS Volunteers were present for the programme. This event was well
organized by the NSS Cordinators Ms. Shaila and Ms. Saritha.
Principal Fr. Andrew inspired NSS Volunteers by his motivational speech. He
inspired students to be more of service minded by closely following the moto of
NSS ‘Not me, but you’. A video presentation of the last year activities was shown
to the newly joined volunteers.
Seminar on Study Tips & Strategy for Writing CET/NEET/JEE Exams
A Seminar was conducted on 23rd July 2022 for Science students on the topic “Study Tips & Strategy for Writing CET/NEET/JEE Exams”. Under the initiative of Dr. Prasanna Kannan, Director CAM Educaton, this seminar was conducted in St. Vincent Pallotti PU College. Prof. M J H Shafi, Former Principal & Retd. Professor of Vijaya College spoke to the students on the above topic. With his vast experience of being in the teaching field for 35 years, Prof. Shafi motivated the students to be focused & dedicated towards scoring good ranking in the competitive exams. All the students were enriched by the inspiring words of the speaker.
Inter-class Kabaddi Tournament
Intra College Kabaddi Tournament was held on 21st and 22nd July, 2022. Event was conducted for both boys and girls and 28 teams participated. It was a grand success, wherein all the students played the game with enthusiasm and team spirit. This was a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their talent in sports field. Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers, who took keen interest in making this event a great success. In the category of girls, II PU SCIENCE emerged as winners and in the category of boys, II PU COMMERCE A SECTION emerged as winners. Director, Rev. Fr. Gilbert Mascarenhas SAC and Principal Rev. Fr. Andrew Roshan Alva SAC honored the winners.
Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament
Football tournament @ SVPC Bengaluru North University in association with St. Vincent Pallotti College hosted the University level Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament at the St. Vincent Pallotti Campus on Thursday, 28th July 2022. The Campus was live in action cheering the Pallotine players on their home ground. It was a wonderful sight to witness the inter – collegiate tournament so power packed with the players at their best aggressively chasing the winner’s trophy. The Football tournament winner’s cup wasbagged by Kristu Jayanti College,HKBK Degree College bagged the 2nd & SEA College bagged the 3rd prizes respectively.The Valedictory function was presided over by the Chief Guest Rev.Fr.Gilbert Mascarenhas SAC, Director,SVPC, Guest of Honour Mr.Srikanth R, Director, Directorate of Physical Education, BNU. Ms. Sushmashree S P, Principal -In-Charge , SVPC, Fr. Andrew Roshan Alva,Principal, SVPC-PU, Ms.Nina , Director, Operations, Kickstart Football Club were among the dignitaries at the function.Certificates were presented to the winning teams.
